Cora Moyer | Founder and Field Director
Cora has been working in the market research world since 2003. She started as a respondent participating in a central location test that led to a serendipitous meeting with a research director. A few weeks later, Cora was hired as a junior project manager overseeing mall intercepts. Over time she transitioned from consumer goods to healthcare, managing qualitative projects for numerous clients and working closely with recruiters. This afforded Cora critical in the trenches experience and a deep understanding of how one manages important and effective communications to bridge between a moderator’s needs and the work being done by recruiters on tight project timelines.
Between 2007 and 2018, Cora worked in full service, taking on the role of field manager for three moderators in a boutique pharmaceutical market research firm. It was here that she leveraged her experience from the recruiter’s perspective and further refined key skills as a field manager:
In 2019, Cora launched Nexus Field Management, bringing with her a tapestry of knowledge and accomplishments to provide first-class project support to qualitative moderators. Never afraid of a challenge, Cora embraces creative problem-solving, maintains a positive and flexible attitude, and continuously seeks out industry innovations to help clients remain competitive.
Cora is not all work! In her personal life, she is married with one daughter and has two dogs who never let her sleep past 5am. When she’s not fielding projects and keeping up with her busy teen, Cora loves to garden and cook, and is an aspiring coffee snob, always looking for a new brew or gadget to achieve coffee nirvana.
Mark D. Moyer I Senior Field Manager
Mark’s 18 years as a marketing team member at Wolters Kluwer, a world-leader in healthcare content, deepened his experience with strategic planning, tactical execution, client management, and data analysis. He managed a challenging and diverse portfolio, including prominent society and proprietary medical and nursing journals as well as medical practice and allied health print and online products. Before joining Nexus Field Management, Mark worked for Kaufman Wills Fusting & Company, a consulting, editorial, and market research firm catering to the scholarly publishing community. His role there was to build product awareness and knowledge, generate prospects, and help clients understand target markets through surveys, qualitative research, product webinars, and competitive profiles and analysis. Through his many years of experience in the marketing sector, Mark brings a genuine passion and enthusiasm to carving out his new role at Nexus Field Management.
When he’s not working, Mark enjoys traveling outside the U.S., weightlifting and working out, film, live theater, the latest Whodunit on PBS, and creative writing.
